Rev. Cameron Schnarr's Installation

Pastor Scharr's installation will be on September 12 at 7pm and there will be a dinner served at 5pm.

Cameron Schnarr was born and baptized in Edmonton in 1982 to Rev. Jim and Cathy Schnarr. He moved with his family - including his younger sister Christa - to Pickering, Ontario and eventually to Hamilton, where his father served as pastor.

Cameron attended McMaster University for an Honours B.Comm., and Mohawk College for post-grad studies in public relations, during which he trained in the Naval Reserves as a bridge watchkeeper. Entering seminary in 2006, he went on vicarage in 2008 to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Saskatoon. He served as a field worker in Burlington, Ontario at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, and in his final year of seminary at Resurrection Lutheran Church in St. Catharines.

Cameron and his wife, Andrea Schnarr, a physiotherapist, just had their first child - Caleb.

Hello Everybody,

It is our pleasure to announce the birth of Caleb Joseph Schnarr!

Born in the 7th month on the 7th day at 7:47 p.m., little Caleb weighed 6 lbs and 11 ounces.

He and his mother are healthy and recovering together.

He is expected to pass 7 lbs within his first week out of the womb.
