Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church - Winnipeg, Canada
COVID 19 Update March 20, 2020
Good evening everyone,

the Elders and Chairman met this evening to discuss the recent recommendations of Lutheran Church- Canada(LCC) and the government of Manitoba to temporarily suspend physically gathering for worship. The decision was made to follow suit at Beautiful Savior in accordance with these recommendations.

This means that on Sunday the service will be available in full online at 10:30am on our YouTube Channel, but there will be no physical gathering at the church building. Please click the link below and "Subscribe." Also click the "Bell" and indicate "All" so you are notified of all the preaching, teaching and devotions which will be made available day-by-day:

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3P6Mh0EJeYs0c0bBnd3xgA/featured

Being sent separately is our service bulletin so you may participate at home with your family, and in your own heart and mind, mouth and body.

The Elders and Pastor will also be calling all members so that those without access to YouTube may still receive ministry using alternative means. It is important for you to know that your Pastor is still available to you. Call him anytime at 204 997-7392. Email him at pastor@beautifulsavior.ca. The church office also remains open Mon-Fri from 8am-12noon, and may be reached by calling 204 256-5548, or emailing bslc@mts.net.

Also, please make use of the daily meditations that I will be delivering at 1pm on the YouTube channel. These speak directly into the circumstances we face on account of the pandemic, and puts God's Word up against the temptations that pull at us from every direction. Pray. Don't think about praying. Do it. And consider how the other people in your life might benefit from any of the messages that give you peace. Share with them. Send them the link, because otherwise they are just going to watch Netflix. :)

Finally, remember this is a temporary situation brought on by unprecedented circumstances. God is faithful. He will see us through, as He has always seen His people through. "If we are faithless, He will be faithful, for He cannot deny Himself" (2 Tim. 2:13).

In Christ,

Pastor Schnarr
